Ok so I've finally got time to say something...

Wow!!!! I never thought I would actually win this thing!! There were so many incredible entries, its unbelievable to me that I actually won 1st place in the art category. It's an incredible honor for me to be apart of this event, and everyone has been so cool. 2023 was my first Pixel Day and it made me really want to give it my all with the Seance piece I did this time. I'm so grateful!!!

Thanks to Tom for creating such a cool space for artists to thrive, and thanks to those who run the Pixel Day event and donate to the site for these types of things to happen!

Thanks to my friends, old and new, for supporting me during everything!

@DinioDo people on Newgrounds organise events for community to participate in for a bit of social integration on internet. Their topics vary: there is Pico Day which is about newgrounds legacy, there is Flash Forward which encourages people to do stuff in Flash, even tho it is supposed to be dead, and ofcourse there is Pixel Day which is to give spotlight for pixel artist, because they are rather minority here.
Those events always have a prize pool to reward people that deserved it for their effort the most.
Newgrounds also sponsors quite a lot of them.
